Stayinginumbria.com and Stayingintuscany.com are sites that have been developed for friends that I have met whilst picking olives in Umbria and Tuscany. It was hoped that by setting up this website and web hosting would help to minimise my friend’s overheads and keep rental prices as low as possible. All arrangements and enquiries can be made through the property owners via their own e-mail or telephone.

I have personally stayed in all the properties both for summer holidays with my family and whilst helping out during the olive harvest. All the properties offer excellent rural locations, although remaining within easy assess to main line communications for travel to major cities or small villages for local shopping, markets, restaurants and bars. They are located in organic groves or land and retain the rustic traditional accommodation typical of the area. They are all clean, well equipped and very peaceful. If you are looking for air-conditioning, swimming pools and Jacuzzis these properties may not suit you. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet stay in rural Italy then this might be for you.
